Our Dogs

           One of the main concerns when pasture raising goats is predators.  To keep the predators away from our goats we use herd guard dogs.  Our dogs are a cross between Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd.  This combination has created one of the sweetest most caring dogs we have ever seen. 

             We currently have three dogs to watch our herds and just had our first litter of puppies in March 2008. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, the curiosity of the goats can sometime create more stress for the dogs than the predators.
